Essential Functions (Job Duties)

• Accompany the Citizen Advocate driver and the individual either to an inpatient facility, to their home or back to the original location.
• Provide support to the individual they are transporting.
• Keep all information regarding the escort service and the individual who uses it confidential by refusing
to divulge information to any other person unless authorized (refer to “confidentiality policy” in your manual.
• Notify and contact the Program Coordinator with any concerns, issues, or questions that arise.
• Follow procedures outlined in “Problem Situations Policy” in your manual.
• Turn in the required paperwork biweekly and be available for on call hours as needed.
• Complete all required trainings whether virtual or in person.

Competencies
• Complete all required trainings whether virtual or in person.
• Consult with the Program coordinator with any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
• Thoroughly read and comprehend the escort/Transportation Program’s policies and procedures manual prior to starting work.
• Maintain and fill out required note for trip as well as time sheet biweekly.

Hours and schedules may vary depending on Company need and workload. Employees will be given as much advance notice as possible when such changes occur.


Travel
Will accompany Citizen Advocates driver to all areas of Franklin, Essex, St. Lawrence or Clinton County depending on need – no driving required.

Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma
