Support Staff

Welcome to Citron Bistro Hobe Sound. After an extensive renovation, we will open in the former Taste restaurant space in the next few weeks! We need reliable, hard working Support Staff that love the energy of a fast paced restaurant, possess a strong work ethic, and take pride in making guests happy. Food Runners and Bussers are an essential part of the operation and we can’t succeed without them!

FOOD RUNNERS:

Our other restaurants are very busy and require strong communication on the line, an understanding of cooking techniques and timelines and someone who is willing to do what it takes to ensure our guests leave happy (take an order for a glass of wine, bus a table, get the chef an item from the walk in refrigerator). We're looking for a positive, team player that enjoys customer service.

FOOD RUNNER DUTIES

- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables
- Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food items
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food service areas
- Assist with restocking supplies as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns

FOOD RUNNER SKILLS
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems for order entry and processing
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and stand for extended periods of time

BUSSERS:

As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include clearing tables, assisting servers, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. We are looking for individuals with previous experience in the food service industry who possess strong hospitality skills and have a passion for providing excellent customer service. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

BUSSER DUTIES:

• Clearing and resetting tables in a timely manner
• Assisting hosts and servers with specific seating needs
• Removing used dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables
• Refilling water glasses and providing additional condiments as needed
• Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and dining areas
• Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
• Take out trash and replace bags as needed

BUSSER SKILLS:

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
• Strong hospitality and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
• Knowledge of basic food handling and safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Please note that these position will require standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds. The ability to communicate effectively with both team members and guests is essential. Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
