An Information Specialist III plans and executes a wide range of public informational activities encompassing a variety of governmental functions and programs; maintains effective working relationships with members of the media, community groups, and key individuals in the public and private sectors; and performs other related duties as required.Current Vacancy Information: There is one (1) vacancy with the Department of Design and Construction, Administration Division, located in Honolulu at the Fasi Municipal Building. Under the general direction of the Director & Deputy Director of the Department of Design and Construction (DDC), this position plans, executes, reviews, and coordinates the department's communication between the Department and the City Administration, other City Agencies, and the community; provides assistance to the Director and Deputy Director on matters pertaining the Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) for various city agencies and Community Development Block Grants (CDBG); responds to FOIA request. This position may be required to work weekends and nights.If you qualify for the position, your name will be placed on an eligible list for further consideration. This list may be used for current and future vacancies in this and/or other departments.
