What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Works Supervisor position at City Government?
The Superintendent of Public Works plans, organizes and manages all activities associated with the Public Works Department. Supervises subordinate positions. Performs various manual tasks associated with maintenance and/or construction of all city streets, parks, storm drainage, and water distribution and sewer collection lines. Performs various tasks associated with the production and distribution of drinking water and treatment of wastewater in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Maintains or causes to be maintained all city street signs, facilities and equipment and a variety of miscellaneous maintenance tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent. One year post high school technical training preferred. Must have at least a “DSII” water and a “C” wastewater license through a combination of on the job and classroom training. A class “B” CDL is preferred. Post high school technical training in surveying, construction, estimating and blueprint reading preferred.

Pay: $41,600.00 - $45,760.00 per year
