What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal - Summer Camp Counselor - PRPL Recreation position at City of Billings?
Work Schedule: Camps run Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Position is 25-40 hours per week, hours are flexible on assigned days and half days are available.
Salary Range: $14.00 -$16.00/hour DOE35 Positions
Must be at least 14 years of age. Position runs from May 30, 2024 through August 30, 2024. Counselors are responsible for providing a positive and safe environment for children. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, energetic personalities, and the ability to work closely and patiently with children. Applicants are required to be leaders and must be excellent role models for children. Previous experience with children’s programs, desired. First Aid and CPR certifications are required for this position. The Recreation Department will provide training to counselors who need to update their certificates.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
