Zoo Boise Front Gate Attendant:
Sells Zoo Boise memberships, reconciles cash, and provides customers with Zoo information as requested. (40%)

Experience working with customers and handling cash.
Working knowledge of Zoo operations and programs; basic math skills.
Ability to interact with customer and participants in a tactful manner; provide a high level of customer service to patrons; perform basic mathematical computations quickly and accurately; display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of City employees, the general public and other organizations; communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance; complete assignments in a timely fashion; understand and comply with all rules, policies and regulations; maintain prompt and regular attendance; and perform all essential and marginal functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor and/or manager with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Knowledge, Experience, And Training
Six months experience in a customer service role.

This position works: days, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Acts as a first-line cashier for Zoo Boise visitors.
- Assists customers with various transactions.
- This position is open to all interested persons 16 years of age and older.
- This position works up to 19 hours per week, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- This position is designated as At-Will.
