What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks Maintenance Worker Aide position at City of Bothell?
Note: This is anticipated to start in May 2024. This is a temporary full-time position. This position has authorized funding for four (4) full months from hire. This is also a non-represented and non-benefited position.
What will you do in this position?
- Maintains ball fields and prepares fields for use including dragging and lining.
- Mows, trims, and weeds small landscape and large turf areas in assigned areas; operates push mower and other equipment necessary, such as line trimmers, rakes, shovels.
- Assists in construction and renovation of park facilities including parks, ball fields and restrooms.
- Other duties as assigned
A successful candidate in this position will:
- Be age 18 or older and have a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
- Ensure clear and efficient communication of information and ideas through diverse communication channels.
- Develop and utilize collaborative relationships to build informal and formal teams, aiming to achieve team goals.
- Effectively evaluate and prioritize various tasks, projects, and demands.
- Openly receive new ideas and other perspectives.
- Take responsibility for accomplishing goals and achieving quality results.
