About this Opportunity
Responsible for providing supervision to Jones Lodge rental events.
The City of Cedar Rapids does not offer sponsorship for employment authorization. Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Enforces all rules and helps maintain discipline to keep safe and orderly groups for rentals and programs.
- Locks and unlocks the building for events.
- Ensures that the facility is appropriately and sufficiently prepared and cleaned at the beginning and end of each rental or program.
- Communicates with public on regular basis.
- Maintains friendly and courteous atmosphere to all patrons.
- Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies, procedures and safety practices;
- Attends work regularly at the designated place and time;
- Supports continuous process improvement initiatives;
- Performs related work as required.
- Requires working and supervisory experience with adult events such as weddings and party rentals of a facility or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred.
Work Schedule
- Schedule varies based on program needs. This is a part-time position, with an average of 19 hours/week.
Salary : $12 - $13
