About this Opportunity    
Responsible for providing supervision to Jones Lodge rental events.

The City of Cedar Rapids does not offer sponsorship for employment authorization.    Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Enforces all rules and helps maintain discipline to keep safe and orderly groups for rentals and programs.
• Locks and unlocks the building for events.
• Ensures that the facility is appropriately and sufficiently prepared and cleaned at the beginning and end of each rental or program.
• Communicates with public on regular basis.
• Maintains friendly and courteous atmosphere to all patrons.
• Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies, procedures and safety practices;
• Attends work regularly at the designated place and time;
• Supports continuous process improvement initiatives;
• Performs related work as required.

Required Education and Experience

• Requires working and supervisory experience with adult events such as weddings and party rentals of a facility or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Desired Qualifications
Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred.

Work Schedule

• Schedule varies based on program needs. This is a part-time position, with an average of 19 hours/week.

Salary : $12 - $13
