The City of Coffeyville, Kansas, (pop. 8,826) is seeking applications for the position of Journeyman Lineman in Electric Distribution. Position duties include but are not limited to: construction, maintenance and repair of electric lines (overhead and underground) on a 12.5kv system utilizing rubber gloves; respond to customer power outages and electrical problems, operate all types of equipment needed for maintaining and repairing electrical lines. Must have current journeyman certification, verifiable work history including troubleshooting and a safe working record. CDL license with air brake rider or ability to obtain is required. Driving record must meet city’s insurance requirements. Passing physical exam including drug test is required.
