Salary Range:
Engineering Technician I: $70,344 - $85,500 Annually
Engineering Technician II: $77,376 - $94,044 Annually
What's The Role?
The City is recruiting to fill an Engineering Technician I or II position, depending on experience. The position is in the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department. The Engineering Division performs a variety of services including coordinating, reviewing and inspecting encroachments in the public right-of-way and utility work; transportation engineering and planning; storm water system engineering and planning; reviewing private development projects; and managing capital projects in the planning, design, and construction phases. The Engineering Technician will assist with all these programs with a focus on encroachment permit review and inspections, utility coordination, stormwater treatment facility and pollution prevention plan review and inspections, evaluation of a variety of traffic requests from the public, and support on capital projects.
