Seasonal Camp Counselor 2025

Description

Rate: $14.50 hourly

Status: Seasonal

• 17 years of age or older/*16 years of age if prior volunteer junior counselor and letter(s) of recommendation
• Minimum of 30 hours per week
• High school senior or college student preferred
• Ability to follow orders, maintain records
• Knowledge of rules of sports and games
• Must have knowledge in areas of cultural arts
• Must attend Metro Day Camp Orientation & in house Orientation
• Efficiently perform the directions from all supervisors
• If Special Needs Leader: Provide 1 on 1 care for special needs camper and may be required to rotate with various special needs between both camp locations with both inside & outside work required
• Vacations and school trips are not considered a valid excuse for missing work, so consider this if you want to accept this position
• MUST PASS POLICE RECORD CHECK
• NOTES: All hours and schedules may be subject to change based on City and/or department needs
