What are the responsibilities and job description for the Police Corporal position at City of Georgetown?
Comments/Special Qualifications Required:
1. Attain and remain current in all certifications described for eligibility for Police Officer III and satisfactory completion of the required probationary period.
2. Three (3) years as a police officer Equivalent service time with another law enforcement agency in a similar job description may be utilized to meet or exceed the three (3) years requirement.
3. No written disciplinary actions, disciplinary suspension and/or involuntary demotion within the past twelve months that would exclude the candidate.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Vocational School Diploma supplemented by a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a job-related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
* Valid South Carolina Driver's License.
* Ability to use a firearm.
