What are the responsibilities and job description for the College Intern Urban Forestry position at City of Hamilton, Ohio?
This position involves intern-level urban forestry work for a Municipal Electric Utility, and reports to the Municipal Arborist/Utility Forester.
Only those applicants currently working towards a minimum of an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Urban Forestry, Biology, Botany, Environmental Science, Horticulture, Landscape Design, Green House/Nursery Operations and Turf Management will be considered. Possession of a valid Driver's License is required.
Must be able to work 40 hours per week from May through August.
- Field Inspections or drafting work;
- Utilizing computer software such as: TreeKeeper Urban Forestry Software and GIS Application with tablets;
- Other duties as assigned.
