The City of Hapeville is accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Part-Time Summer Camp Staff. This is a highly responsible position that assists in implementing and directing recreation programs and activities, including youth programs, senior programs and fitness programs at the recreation center.
Rate: $10.00 - $20.00/hour depending on experience and certifications
Qualified applicants must possess:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- 18 years of age
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervises and leads a small group of summer camp participants through daily activities including indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, science projects, field trips, and more.
- Provides positive interactions and communication between staff, campers, and guardians.
- Ensures camp runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Always enforces camp rules
- Completes accurate accidents, behavior and/or discipline reports
- Assists with light-duty cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, and setup and breakdown of tables and chairs
- Performs other miscellaneous tasks as directed
