We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician II! This position requires a California Registered Technician who will operate under Pharmacist Supervision. The primary responsibilities include packaging, preparation, and compounding of oral medications, intravenous medications, as well as chemotherapy/biohazard medications. Additionally, the role involves implementing and maintaining control procedures, conducting inventory management, and overseeing stock control.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician II! This position requires a California Registered Technician who will operate under Pharmacist Supervision. Additionally, the role involves implementing and maintaining control procedures, conducting inventory management, and overseeing stock control.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Ensure compliance with USP 797 & 800 at all times.
- Utilize proper aseptic technique for all pharmaceutical mixing.
- Order, receive, and maintain accurate medication inventory.
- Coordinate with Specialty Pharmacies or manufactures for timely deliveries of medications for infusion.
- Performs routine daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning as required.
- Procure and maintain supplies necessary for daily mixing operation.
- Prescription order entry and process.
- Coordination and submission of prior authorizations.
- Determination of patient’s prescription benefits and seeks appropriate financial assistance when applicable.
- Order, receive and maintain accurate medication inventory.
- Assist with routing and release of prescriptions to the appropriate pharmacy
- Properly label and fills prescription drugs.
- High School or equivalent or Post High School vocational/specialized training or Graduation from a foreign school of Pharmacy
- 3 or more years of performing related duties as a pharmacy technician
- Certified Pharmacist Technician (CPhT) from Pharmacy Technician
- Certification Board (PTCB), preferred

- Employed at COH in current role for at least one year, unless otherwise stipulated in an applicable collective bargaining agreement.
- Are in good standing and have no current performance issues.

Salary : $23 - $34
