HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of city facilities. Provides general building maintenance and manual labor for city facilities and adjacent grounds, cleaning, waste removal, replenishing of supplies, and various other responsibilities. Performs minor maintenance on equipment and buildings; unclogs blocked sinks and toilets; maintains door locks and window glass; and reports the need for major repairs.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
The ability to follow oral and written instructions. Perform heavy physical labor in a variety of climatic conditions. Possesses a High school diploma or equivalent. Possess a valid Driver's License (required). The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a short distance and to work from heights.
OUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work is primarily done in an indoor facility setting; however, responsibilities will require work in the outdoors and other environments. Some exposure to inclement weather (dust, ice, snow, heat and rain) and noise.
