Job Description
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for transporting senior citizens and handicapped individuals to pre-scheduled destinations in the City Limits of Laurel area; assist with the on and off loading of passengers; completes daily automotive check list; maintains operation records; and provides imput for appointment scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 25 years of age. Must have a valid Class C driver’s license and the ability to drive a 16-passenger vehicle. Must have at least one year of driving experience and a clear background check. Must have thorough knowledge of the City of Laurel area streets and vicinity. Must be in good physical condition to perform manual tasks; can follow a daily appointment schedule and the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with the public. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate, have a certified driving record and be able to obtain Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR certifications.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL, DRUG SCREENING, RECORD AND A CRIMINAL RECORD BACKGROUND CHECK.
