What are the responsibilities and job description for the AQUATICS MAINTENANCE position at City of Lawrence?
Applicants must be at least 18 and have a valid driver's license. No experience is required, on-the-job training will be provided. This position requires daily cleaning of our facilities, utilizing specialized equipment to disinfect locker rooms, bathrooms, and lobby areas. Other tasks may include detail cleaning tile, and grout, wiping down, and polishing fixtures and surfaces. Restocking soap and paper goods. Adding water and chemicals to pools. Testing chemical levels. Power washing concrete deck around pool areas. Vacuuming and pushing broom debris in the pool. Carry up to 20 pounds constantly and up to 55 pounds occasionally with or without accommodation. Work under various extremes of temperature and weather, both inside and outdoors. Working weekends or evenings is preferred.
