The Community Health Services (CHS) Division is seeking an Advance Practice Registered Nurse to join its team. Responsibilities of this position include assessing the health of individuals seeking health care in the Public Health Clinic. Individual must be knowledgeable regarding general health conditions and health concerns including men and women’s health, sexual health, Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV. Individual will work under the direct supervision of the Public Health Clinic Supervisor. Must have the ability to work well with team members and possess excellent communication skills.
Qualifications: Graduation from a Masters degree nursing program accredited by the National League of Nursing. Experience in the delivery of health services or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.
Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of a valid license to practice as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska and a valid driver’s license from the State of Nebraska.
