What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal - Summer Childcare Staff position at City of Mason City?

Responsible for the children in our Fun 'N' Sun program during the summer.

Duties:
Assist in the planning, organizing and leading of activities at the site; assists in teaching various games, crafts and managing the rules of play at the site; responsible for assisting in the issuing and collecting of equipment; supervise approximately 10-50 participants.

  • $11.00/hour and up, based on experience
  • 8-40 hours/week available
  • Flexible schedule
  • Monday - Friday, no weekends
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
Available Shift Hours for Fun & Sun Program (Summer Months):
  • 8:00am - 5:30pm (M, T, W, Th, F)
Positions will be filled as qualified applications are received and as needed throughout the season.
