What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Laborer I position at CITY OF MAUMELLE?
The general purpose of Laborer I is to maintain city streets, parks, green spaces, and grounds for the City of Maumelle as directed by the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor Laborer #2.
General Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Assists in the collection of trash, yard waste, etc. from the curbside
- Mow and weed eat grass and vegetation in parks and public areas
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Clean drainage ditches and storm drains
- Pick up trash on streets or in parks
- Maintain walk-through tunnels
- Replace sod in residential and business areas after work has been performed
- Painting as needed
- Other duties and tasks as needed or assigned.
