Police Officer Lateral 2025

We are hiring Lateral Police Officers! 

The City of Miamisburg accepts lateral applications throughout the year.  

APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Start the process by clicking APPLY HERE on the top of this page. (resume required).
2. Complete the Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) that will be emailed to you after you submit your resume on UKG. 
3. The Interview phase is a panel interview with the HR Director, and 2 police department staff. 
4. City will then determine whether to move you into the background phase which includes but is not limited to a polygraph test.
5. If a conditional offer is made, the candidate will undergo a psychological assessment, a post-offer polygraph and Ohio Police Pension physical with drug screen.   
6. A Final Offer is made only upon successful completion of the background investigation and post-offer assessments.
