Responsibilities
- Coordinate talent acquisition efforts by assisting with recruiting, screening candidates, and managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS or Workday.
- Facilitate new employee orientation programs to ensure smooth onboarding and integration into the company culture.
- Support employee evaluation processes by collecting performance data, preparing review documentation, and assisting managers with performance management initiatives.
- Administer benefits programs and manage benefits enrollment using platforms like ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro.
- Maintain accurate HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data, including data entry, updates, and reporting to support workforce management and strategic planning.
- Assist with compliance activities related to employment law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation claims, and affirmative action planning.
- Manage employee relations by addressing inquiries, supporting conflict resolution efforts, and fostering open communication channels across teams.
- Contribute to HR projects such as organizational design, change management initiatives, succession planning, and training & development programs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within HR environments.
- Strong knowledge of human capital management practices, employment law (including FMLA), and labor law compliance.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, or Ceridian; experience with Workday or Dayforce is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of benefits administration systems like Paychex or ADP and payroll processes including Kronos or UltiPro is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism while maintaining attention to detail through data collection and entry tasks.
