What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Fitness Instructor (Part Time) position at City of North Myrtle Beach?
Teach a variety of one or more group fitness classes including, but not limited to aerobics, step, cycling, yoga, Pilates and kick boxing. Ensure the safety of class participants and promote an effective, well-balanced group program. Understand and enforce rules and regulations governing the conduct of patrons and facility emergency procedures. Respond to public needs in a courteous manner and report comments/complaints regarding facility, staff or patrons to Fitness Director.Current certification in CPR/PR, First Aid, ACSM, ACE or AFAA, ICSA or the equivalent preferred but not required. Good communication skills. Previous experience in teaching preferred.
