What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Tech position at City of North Myrtle Beach?
Under general supervision, performs primary and secondary grounds maintenance activities in maintaining and improving City parks and grounds. Operates heavy and light equipment, maintains equipment, performs landscaping, maintains facilities, conducts pest control, repairs systems, and performs related activities.
Must be physically able to operate a tractor, lawn mower and a variety of gardening and lawn maintenance tools. Must be able to exert up to fifty pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Medium Work. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of ten to eighty pounds.
