What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Lifeguard (Part Time) position at City of North Myrtle Beach?
To ensure a safe aquatic environment for swimming pool patrons. Know, understand and enforce rules and regulations governing the conduct of patrons and facility emergency procedures. Respond to public needs in a courteous manner and report comments/complaints regarding facility, staff or patrons to supervisor. Assist in maintenance and cleaning of pool, pool deck, locker rooms and other areas as directed by aquatic supervisor.Current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR/PR, First Aid. Previous experience in lifeguarding preferred, but not required. Minimum age requirement is 16 years.
