What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Cashier position at City of O'Fallon?
The City of O'Fallon is looking for an organized and customer-focused team member for the position of Seasonal Pool Cashier at Alligator Creek Aquatic Center. Our Pool Cashiers enjoy a fun work environment, with plenty of variety in their workdays. The Pool Cashiers can expect to make a starting rate of $14.40 hourly. Typically they work 10 - 25 hours per week.
We're looking for someone who has the desire to deliver great customer service and possesses strong oral and written communication skills. This person should be able to easily learn department policies and procedures and have knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment.
The duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Answering telephone and greeting visitors, providing information and assistance
- Maintaining and updating records including attendance, inventory and basic financial transactions
- Filing and retrieving files, forms, inventories, logs and other documents
- Registering program participants and receiving related fees
- Performing cashier functions and operating and point-of-sale register
Applicants must:
- Have previous cash handling experience
- Possess strong skills in computers and data entry
- Have a valid Missouri State driver's license
- Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays or other irregular hours, as required
- Must be able to obtain a first-aid/CPR card
