- Must be able to work a 6-hour shift, one or two times per week on a rotating basis. Work days will vary week to week. Shift start time will vary from 6:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m. Shifts may at times exceed six hours.
- Duties include working as tee manager - greeting groups, checking receipts, keeping tee times on schedule, combining and organizing groups that are not full.
- Work as Player Assistant/Marshall - patrolling course, monitoring pace of play, facilitating the flow of play on the course. Enforcing golf course rules.
- Volunteers will work with iPads for teeing groups off, recording cart numbers, recording turn and finish times of groups.
- Must be at least 18 years of age, although most members of this group are retirees.
- You will be provided with a uniform - two shirts, jacket and hat, to be worn only while on duty.
- Volunteers are allowed to play at both St. Andrews and Sykes/Lady golf courses without charge, including cart.
- Range balls available at both courses without charge anytime.
- Receive discounts in the snack bar and Club 27 restaurant, and on all merchandise at both courses.
- Ability to make tee times six days in advance. 5.Free lessons from one of the club professionals. These lessons will be on a space available basis and will be 10 - 30 minutes in length.
