College Interns assist the Department of Permits, Licenses and Inspections (PLI) in achieving departmental goals and objectives by working to complete assigned tasks and projects in the following areas: Archives and Preservation, Digital Librarianship, Business Administration, Information Systems, Architecture Programs, Law/Legal.
College Interns will have the opportunity to learn about general operating procedures, public service and the workings of City government, as well as specific skills, which may include but are not limited to: budgeting, planning meetings and special events, inventory control, researching and developing policy, analyzing data and developing reports, documenting procedures, time management, maintaining databases and customer service.
