What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gold Bug Park Attendant position at City of Placerville?
Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor and/or Coordinator, the Gold Bug Park Tour Guide Attendant is responsible for conducting group tours of the mines and/or Stamp Mill and providing information on the park and the historic Gold Bug Mine.
This position is ideal for an individual interested in working with the public in a park setting. The Tour Guide Attendant must enjoy working with the public and it is helpful to have an interest in local history. A background in interpretation is also beneficial. Training is provided by the City and no previous experience is required.
Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
March through May and September through October (weekdays 9:00 am-4:00 pm)
Salary : $16 - $17
