This position expected to work independently troubleshooting equipment; accomplishes tasks, often working unsupervised. Maintains and operates treatment, and pumping facilities. Performs operations and maintenance at the water reclamation plant; consisting of an activated sludge, single stage nitrification system, aerobic digesters, and sludge handling system consisting of gravity belt thickeners and centrifuges. Works in sewer collection system using a Jet-Vactor for cleaning and maintenance, maintains lift stations, and carries out preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on all equipment.
