The Parks and Recreation Department is hiring for the following position:
Operations Worker I
Annual Salary: $30,465.92
Application Deadline: Open until filled
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general manual labor, including loading dirt and construction materials.
- Dig and backfill ditches by hand.
- Pour and shovel concrete.
- Operate power mowers and other park maintenance equipment as part of the park maintenance crew.
- Conduct routine maintenance on lawn and power equipment.
- Assist with other related duties as assigned.
- Some Saturday work required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Arkansas driver’s license.
- 12 to 18 months of relevant experience and/or training.
