What are the responsibilities and job description for the Victim Advocate position at City of Saratoga Springs?
This position assists victims of crime. Job duties may include responding with police to the scene of an initial incident, Following determination of who the victim is, the advocate will provide safety information, make referrals to other agencies for assistance, educate victims about the court process and victim rights etc. Responsibilities may include extensive contact with the victim by phone or in person.
Hours of this position may vary due to call out/call back due to emergencies. May need to respond on weekends and evening in emergency situations.
