What are the responsibilities and job description for the Police officer position at City of Selma?

Minimum Qualifications Include :

  • a)High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • b) Valid Peace Officer License from TCOLE or candidates in the final phase of the Police Officer Academy;

Applicants are subject to pre-employment screening / testing, including but not limited to : thorough background investigations, psychological, physical, and drug testing.

Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, as well as Holidays. Please review the ineligibility and disqualifiers list for more information.
