The City of Sterling Heights Parks & Recreation Department is seeking applicants for a Program Assistant position at the Nature Center!
This position is part-time and will be responsible for assisting patrons with registrations, daily deposits, scheduling and coordinating field trips and birthday parties, providing excellent customer service, and handling general inquiries at the Nature Center. Duties also include some clerical and program assistance such as emails, filing, flyers, special event support, etc.
Shifts available are 12pm-5pm Tuesday through Saturday, between 15 – 20 hours per week. Some evening hours may be required. The starting rate of pay is $14.50 per hour. This position is subject to an annual background check.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be age 18 or older
- Clerical/Computer experience preferred
