Assists with all department and City approved special events and maintains parks. Regular schedule - Mon-Fri 7am-4pm. Schedule may vary to include weekends and holidays based on events, inclement weather or as operational demands require.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists with special events to include setup, staging, breakdown, and cleanup
- Provides general park maintenance for play structures, pavilions, fencing, restrooms, sidewalks, parking lots, playground equipment, etc.
- Assists in maintaining grounds at City owned facilities and properties as assigned
- Removes trash/debris from assigned areas to include parks, roadsides, sports facilities, and other public areas
- Completes and submits required paperwork
- Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- landscaping, or operating related equipment
- Valid driver’s license
