A $4,000 hiring bonus is being offered for this position. Hiring bonuses shall only be for new hires of original employment or reemployment as defined in Human Resources Policy No. 5.0.
· $1,000 will be awarded in the first paycheck.
· $1,250 will be awarded upon completion of the six (6) month interim performance evaluation with an overall rating of “Meets Expectations”.
· $1,750 will be awarded upon completion of the employee’s one (1) year probationary period and a performance evaluation with an overall rating of “Meets Expectations”.
The City of Virginia Beach Department of Human Services is seeking to hire a talented and motivated Clinician IV who has experience working with adults with mental health and substance use disorders, crisis work, intervention and supervisory experience for the Mobile Crisis Response Clinical Supervisor position for the Adult Mobile Crisis program in the Behavioral Health Division.
- Perform professional, clinical and administrative management duties for the Eastern Hub, Crisis Services to include Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) Services and Community Stabilization (CS) Services.
- Direct, supervise, and evaluate staff performance in delivering MCR services to the City of Virginia Beach, City of Norfolk and Eastern Shore citizens and CS services to the City of Virginia Beach for individuals who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
- Develop program outcomes.
- Utilize data to manage unit performance and outcomes.
- Assure that staff receive appropriate training, and other resources needed to perform their jobs.
- Manage financial performance of the program including the budget, insurance authorizations and other documentation and billing information.
- Ensure that all program regulatory reporting requirements are met.
- Act as liaison to internal and external community providers.
- Provide individual, family, and crisis counseling to consumers.
- Provide assessment, Treatment Planning, Individual and/or Family Therapy.
- Responsible for program scheduling, quality assurance reviews and monthly staff supervisions and trainings.
- Active member of the Behavioral Health Division’s intra-disciplinary leadership team and the regional MCR leadership team.
- Provide back up coverage for the program.
