The purpose of this position is to perform routine part-time support services directing traffic in conjunction with the moving of children to and from school.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Major DutiesControls vehicular traffic at designated crossing to allow children to cross safely; Controls children using the crossing to assure that they conform to traffic regulations;Takes appropriate action with children who fail to cooperate and reports such action to immediate supervisor;Reports motorists who fail to observe safe motor vehicle operation in school crossing zone.Supervisory/Management ResponsibilityNone
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
The work is performed outside while standing and walking.
