Summary: The Donation Warehouse Assistant plays a key role in processing donations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring donor satisfaction. This position involves sorting goods, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating on tasks such as driving, warehouse work, and kitchen assistance when needed.
Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-6pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet donors, unload donations, and provide receipts.
- Maintain accurate donation records.
- Ensure a clean, safe work environment, reporting any hazards.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
- Operate forklift as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Sort and merchandise donated items.
- Refresh store items, considering client needs and weather conditions.
- Train and delegate tasks to volunteers and clients.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist with driving, warehouse tasks, and kitchen duties as needed.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Able to follow instructions from the Supervisor.
- Demonstrates good decision-making skills
- Obtain fork-lift certification.
- Ability to pass MVR and Background check
- Meet the minimum qualifications mandated by the insurance provider for operating CRM vehicles.

- Must be able to maneuver 200 pounds, pull utility carts on wheels on and off trucks.
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel and reach for long periods of time (up to 10 hours a day)
- Good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
