Overview
As a Senior CADD Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC), you'll be working on project teams that create civil site plans for our varied client base including work in commercial development, oil and gas, and public sector projects. You will work from detailed sketches and verbal or written direction to produce computer-generated to-scale drawings, cross-sections, details, figures, graphs, charts, overlays and simple isometric drawings. You'll edit word-processing documents and spreadsheets used in drawings and understand procedures for file saving, retrieving, and transferring. You will also perform self-reviews of completed work to find and correct obvious errors before issuing the product for review by others. When the drawings are ready you may aid in general office functions such as printing and folding drawings, deliveries and copying.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years' experience and 1-2 years of training at technical school;
- Experience working with Civil Design and Survey drawings;
- 3-5 years’ experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson products;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to speak and write professionally;
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
