About our organization
Our company is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and experienced professional for the administrative position for a privately owned company licensed for the past 23 years in serving approximately 17 individuals over the age of 18, diagnosed with Intellectual Developmental disabilities. Including 2 to 3 individuals under Mental Health in a private residential facility. We have approx. 34 staff employed in 3 different lovely private residential home settings. Our dedicated staff provide the 24/7 care and supports needed. Located in Rockingham County, VA.
Having fewer clients per home offers staff the time and opportunity to use their own creative talents and innovative skills in supporting those in our care to attain their unique personal goals.

Minimum Requirements included but Not limited to:
Education and training:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in human services
- Computer literacy and processing skills
- Human rights and regulation training
- Relias trainings and implementation skills
- MANDT training
- CPR and first aid Certified
- Blood born pathogen’s/OSHA Knowledge of Licensing regulations under Virginia DBHDS.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in writing yearly ISP and quarterly service plans.
- Minimum of 4 years of prior experience working in both mental health, and intellectual, developmentally disabled adult individuals over the age of 18.
- Works well under pressure and is flexible to respond to changing priorities, unplanned events, and or emergencies.
- Ability to manage a minimum of 25 staff members across multiple homes.
- Build and foster positive morale.
- Knowledge of Virginia IDD waiver- based programs and funding
- Experience in Crisis stabilization and documentation
- Knowledge of CHRIS reporting
- Root Cause analysis training
- Data analysis, incident management and risk screening
- Knowledge of SIS training and reviews
- Must have excellent speaking and writing skills.
- Experience with telephone, copy machine, PC, Microsoft word processing software, and fax.
- Good driving record
Work Schedule:
- Average 40 hours minimum weekly
- AM & PM shift flexibility
- Flexibility to respond in emergency situations 24/7.
- Availability on Holidays and weekends, as needed.
Additional Benefits:
- A $5,000.00 sign-on bonus to be given after a six-month evaluation period.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
