Job Summary And Qualifications
- Demonstrates proficiency in operating and trouble-shooting equipment used in the EKG lab.
- Prep patients and apply holter monitors.
- Restocks work area with necessary supplies. Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly to promote patient safety.
- Assists with compiling bi-weekly and monthly data.
- Respond to stat orders as received.
- Demonstrates proficiency in performing routine EKGs, Signal Averaged EKGs, Rhythm Strips, and EKGs with and without the magnet.
- Provides coverage for weekends and holidays.
- Executes departmental procedure for clerical processing of EKGs.
- Six months experience in patient care in a hospital -Required
- High School Diploma -Required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider - Required
