What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Programmer position at Claborn Manufacturing?
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assigned work practices with safety and quality focus
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Be a team player, work with others to solve problems, and improve the process
Be an effective communicator with peers, management, and external stakeholders
Must be or become familiar with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Familiar with basic robotics and the motions of a robot
Routinely able to interpret engineering drawings
Demonstrate proficiency with Windows and the Windows file structure
Participate and actively engage in quality and continuous improvement projects
Serve as a resource for other employees in troubleshooting and identifying equipment/machine issues
Desired Characteristics and Behaviors:
Understand the shop floor safety requirements, PPE and consistently adhere to them
Mechanical aptitude working in a shop environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be able to communicate and relay information if issues arise and changes must made
Ability to operate and transition between multiple operating and design systems
Ability to take initiative, self-motivated
Communicate effectively, understand and follow the rules
Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma/GED
Must be or become familiar with a press brake, its fundamental operation, bend dimensions, etc.
Become familiar with Trumpf software “Trutops classic/boost”
Ability to work flexible shifts
US citizenship and permanent resident
