Woodshop Cabinet Assembler/Technician

Clair Global is seeking a Cabinet Assembler/Technician to join the team! The Cabinet Assembler/Technician is responsible for performing at a high production level in a fast-paced woodshop environment. Collaborate with woodshop team to efficiently and accurately assemble wood speaker cabinets.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

• 3 years of cabinet assembly and wood shop experience preferred.
• Mastery of common wood shop tools and equipment.
• Practical Shop Skills Assessment will be performed during interview process.
• Experience with reading and building from assembly prints.
• Familiarity with both Imperial and Metric measurement units.
• Experience in wood sanding and finishing techniques.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and experience in production work flow.
• Possess strong critical thinking skills and work independently.
• Ability to work beyond 40 hours per week if required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Duties include all tasks involved with wood machining, preparation and assembling of wood speaker cabinets.
• Cabinet Assembly
• Table Saw Operation (Bevels, Rabbets & Dadoes)
• Compound Miter Saw Operation
• Router Table Operation
• Hand Router Operation
• Fixture & Jig Making
• Read CAD prints and perform standard measurement calculations.
• Document work and maintain quality control records.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow directions and communicate issues effectively.
• Work towards continuous improvement and efficiency.
