About the Role:
Clarapath is looking to hire a highly motivated Supply Chain & Procurement Manager who will play a critical role in strategic decision making and operations as the company undergoes rapid growth. The successful candidate will have a track record in setting priorities, as well as excellent analytic, organization and communication skills.
We are a rapidly growing business with the opportunity for the right candidate to continue advancing their role and responsibilities as the company grows.
Responsibilities included but not limited to
- Oversee and manage overall procurement, supply chain, and logistics operations to maximize efficiency, reduce risk, and minimize cost of organizations supply chain.
- Setup new vendors and negotiate contracts, including pricing, technical requirements, scope, lead time and other terms.
- Monitor, mitigate and report on supplier quality issues and track compliance to terms.
- Procure and track inventory to meet production schedule.
- Manage Purchase Order lifecycle, tracking open orders and following up as necessary.
- Maintain a record of inventories, purchasing, and pricing records.
- Employ strategies and risk mitigation plan in order to ensure continuity of supply.
- Manage relationships with external manufacturers and strategic partners as needed.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams on sourcing strategy, market analysis, trade-off analysis, and supplier roadmaps to support cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Monitor and manage costs to ensure adherence to budgets and forecasts.
- Manage the distribution process and network, ensuring on-time delivery in accordance with demand and committed orders.
- Establish a demand planning process and integrate manufacturing planning, production scheduling, and inventory management in accordance with demand.
- Lead the full utilization and exploitation of NetSuite, Arena, and all affiliated ERP software tools.
- Manage the process for BOM maintenance and updates.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelors or masters degree in business, engineering, supply chain / logistics or equivalent
- 7 years of experience in production, scheduling, or inventory management, including data management experience
- Strong working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, as well as an aptitude for current market conditions and future risks
- Background in complex supply chain management of an integrated electromechanical system
- Experience with PLM software, such as Arena
- Proficient with NetSuite
- Experience developing and/or utilizing logistics-related modeling tools
