Key Responsibilities:
- Showcase your exceptional sign language interpretation skills, facilitating effective communication for individuals in various settings.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, students, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
- Uphold the highest level of professionalism, adhering to professional standards and ethics, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of deaf culture.
- A Bachelor’s degree in ASL interpretation, deaf education, special education, or a related field.
- Certification as a sign language interpreter (e.g., RID certification) preferred but not required. 3.5 EIPA or higher required.
