What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parent Educator position at Clarion County's Promise, Inc?
Clarion County’s Promise, Inc. is looking to fill a Full-Time or Part-time Parent Educator Position.
The Parent Educator will provide parenting programs to families in Clarion and
Jefferson Counties. Training and certification in Triple P Parenting will be provided.
This position may also work in other programs provided by Clarion County’s Promise as needed. This may include our homemaker mentor program or working with schools on truancy.
This position is full-time, Monday-Friday and includes travel throughout Clarion and Jefferson County. We will also consider 2 part-time positions, instead of 1 Full-Time position. Please indicate your preference when applying. Work hours are flexible as long as you are able to visit all assigned families each week and attend any relevant meetings.
Minimum requirements is an associate degree and relevant experience. A bachelor’s degree in education or any human service field is preferred.
Applicants must possess a valid PA driver’s license, and have Act 34, 151 & 114 clearances at time of hire.
