Machine Operator
Location: Toledo, OH
Pay: $15.35/hr. starting, with the opportunity to earn an average of $20/hr. through incentive pay after completing training. Incentive pay is based on production performance and is added weekly.
Shift Differential:
Shift Differential:
- 8-hour: 2nd shift $1.00/hr., 3rd shift $1.25/hr.
- 12-hour: Day shift $1.00/hr., Night shift $1.50/hr.
Shifts:
- 2nd: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Responsibilities
- Operate automated and semi-automated production machines in battery manufacturing
- Make machine adjustments, perform basic troubleshooting, and participate in preventative maintenance
- Inspect product and equipment for quality and productivity issues
- Accurately document production output and quality checks
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements
Qualifications
- 1 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Comfortable working 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Ability to work in a hot, physically demanding environment
- Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift safely for long periods
- Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
- Strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality
About the Plant
Our Toledo, Ohio fully integrated plant is the largest Clarios facility, opened in 1981. With more than 610 employees, we manufacture batteries used in automotive and marine applications. The plant operates six days per week and is actively involved in the local community, supporting organizations like United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Cherry Street Mission, and Ronald McDonald House.
