The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a Receptionist / Office Administrator to serve as the welcoming face of its New York office. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, organized, and eager to grow within a professional creative environment. While reception remains at the core of the role, the position has evolved to include a range of office administrative responsibilities that support day-to-day studio operations.
This is a fully onsite position, five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Front Office
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors with professionalism and warmth
- Manage incoming calls and general inquiries
- Maintain a polished, attentive front desk presence
Office & Facilities Support
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Support the facilities team with daily office needs
- Ensure common areas and conference rooms are client-ready
Meeting & Studio Support
- Assist with meeting and conference room setup and breakdown
- Coordinate catering placement for client meetings
- Support executive assistants with meeting logistics
HR & New Hire Support
- Assist with new hire orientation logistics
- Print and prepare employee ID cards
- Ensure workstations are set up and presentable
- Maintain and update office seating charts for moves, hires, and departures
Qualifications
- 6 months to 2 years of post-graduate experience in a professional office environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Positive, proactive, and service-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative studio setting
- Experience in a creative or design-driven environment is a plus, but not required
Work Environment
- Fully onsite role, Monday–Friday
- Collaborative, design-focused studio culture
- High level of visibility and interaction across teams and with clients
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary in the $60,000- 63,000
- Eligible for overtime pay
- Discretionary annual bonus
