Clark County (Indiana) Government is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Maintenance / Environmental Team Member.
In summary, the person in this position is responsible for helping to maintain Clark County Government buildings and grounds that do not have their own maintenance department. Duties include performing maintenance of building and grounds, working with other staff and vendors, operating a variety of tools, completing environmental duties assigned daily.
Skills include the relative and working knowledge of maintenance practices, building upkeep, cleaning and environmental practices, and teamwork.
Must be able to physically perform maintenance duties including standing/walking for long periods, moderate to heavy lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling objects, reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and others as listed and requested.
Work hours are negotiable,but will be 35 hours per week.
Desired candidate will demonstrate the Clark County Citizen Service Core Values at all times.
